UKRAINIAN BAPTIST HERITAGE CENTRE

I am glad to see that you want to do something very important for the Ukrainian Baptist cause. Of course you have our permission to translate articles from The Messenger of Truth into the English language and use them where needed, mentioning their origin. I will send you an official letter soon.
     Blessings! John K.

Thanks Peter for today and the interview.  You are one of a special kind.  In Bible days, they would call you a Scribe.  Peter, you have a gift that is rare, but much appreciated by all who know you and about you.  What you are doing is giving of yourself unselfishly for the betterment of the body of Christ.  Also, you have the spiritual state of your viewers/listeners in mind.  Wonderful!  I rather enjoyed today's interview sesssions.

God bless -   Walter Kohut, August 2009

Dearest Nadia & Peter,

You are jewels from heaven.  On behalf of my brothers and sisters - Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your Christian love.  Your willingness to help with the funeral of our dear father has left a lasting impression in our hearts.

Nadia, the choir - so excellent and from the heart.  Thanks for organizing on short notice.  Peter, thanks for your thoughtful words and leading of congregational songs.  What a treasure your booklet is - 'A GIFT IN PROCESS' - you are truly amazing and gifted.  You've touched us deeply.  Your tribute to our Dad made the funeral a wonderful celebration of his life.

Thanks so much for what you did for us!  Your visit with your kids and father, to my Dad in the hospital meant everything.  God Bless you and keep you.  His Grace is Amazing - Now Tato can see and if he was here he would say 'Thank You and God Bless You'.

Nadia and Peter - Well done, servants of the Lord!

Lovingly, Oksana, Taras, Lesia and Natalka Kostiw, July 2009

My Dear Peter

Words cannot describe how I am moved by your generosity of spirit, kindness and unconditional love.  Your spoken word, your music ministry and your incredibly appreciated package about Dad (on such short notice), I will cherish forever.  Peter, we have much in common regarding our dads', but I wish I had your wisdom.  I wish I connected with you in a meaningful way earlier while my Dad was still with us.  You have so much to offer as did my Dad in the "Printed Word", as you so eloquently mentioned at the funeral.  Your wife and the Shtuka and Tymciw families held my Dad in such high esteem, as do I.  The choir was so beautiful and honored our Dad and family greatly.  It was nice to see your beautiful kids as well, a reminder to me of the"golden old days" at Tecumseth.

Again, my very sincere gratitude to you and your beautiful family.

Dear Peter,

Wanted to thank you so much for putting together the booklet for my father's articles.  This weekend my family went away and as we were driving, I was reading the various articles (in tears) to my children about their Dido and Baba.  I am so touched that you took the time to sort his treasures and delivered it to my sisters and brother on Friday.

You are so correct when you write the importance of preserving history.  For the past 11 years (since my father became blind), I have spent numerous hours sorting and filing all his papers, documents, etc., (under his 'strict directions').  I have index cards/files/boxes (1000s) sorted according to dates of Baptismals, births, deaths of many Ukrainian Baptists throughout North America and Ukraine (even some in Germany).  I congratulate you for organizing this now for your dad and the Ukrainian Community before he passes away.  Our fathers had so much in common.  They both contributed a great amount of knowledge to the Ukrainian Baptist Community.  Thank you and to so many of the members of the church for recognizing his accomplishments at his funeral.
